Description
The current Brocket Hall, located in Hertfordshire (England) was the third manor home built on the land, with the very first one dating back to 1239. Designed by Sir James Paine, the house changed hands a host of times and is now a Michelin-rated upscale restaurant.
Built from red brick in the neoclassical style, the Brocket chair resembles its namesake. Seen here in Giotto Brandy leather, the high back of this piece is reminiscent of the tall centre of Brockett Hall. At the seat broadens out, it also resembles the Hall with its broad and encompassing red brick wings.
