Description
Bonnie is a reissue of a Pierre Paulin original from 1975 known as modèles 500 and 500/2. There are few, rare examples of this piece and Ligne Roset based the Bonnie on the original. From the outset, the Bonnie seating is striking in terms of its comfort, both visual and real, hugging the lines of the human body fiercely. The Bonnie seating is at once extremely comfortable and also clever, without being too clever. CONSTRUCTION Shell structure in steel wire and steel mesh clad in injected foam and covered with 100 g/m² polyester quilting, with the exception of the ottoman, the structure of which is in 3-layer particleboard and multi-ply. Panels clad in polyether foam and high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam. The entire structure is clad in 100 g/m² polyester quilting. Base in matt black lacquered machined MDF. The armchair is also available with an indexed rotating base (6 mm thick Epoxy black lacquered steel). COMFORT Seat and integral armrests in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam 36 kg/m3 – 2.8 kPa, with comfort layer in ultra-flexible polyurethane foam 30 kg/m3 – 1.8 kPa. Integral backrest in Bultex 26 kg/m3 – 1.4 kPa, with comfort layer in ultra-flexible polyurethane foam 30 kg/m3 – 1.8kPa. MAKING-UP 5 mm baguette stitch on periphery. Covers are quilted with four (4) or eight (8) buttons diameter 3/4” – 20 mm covered in matching fabric or leather. Covers may be removed by an upholsterer. COVERING MATERIALS True to the original spirit of this model, plain covering materials are recommended: smooth leathers or nubuck, woollen fabrics…a selection of stretch jersey fabrics is also on offer for the plain version.
